My monitor isn't bright enough ... ?

Set the Contrast to Maximum and the Brightness to Halfway, this is normal settings for all TVs and monitors.

My USB Device doesn't work ... ?

First, make sure you have a PC with Windows 98, 98SE, ME, or 2000 or a MAC with the latest MAC-OS (9.0 at the present time). If you don't have this equipment don't attempt to use USB on it. It will most likely NOT work. Second, make sure that you turn on the computer all the way before plugging a USB device into the computer.

It's OK, it's just hiding under "another" Windows bug. Just restart your computer and everything will be just fine.  (And ask the printer where it went...That's a joke!)

I'm getting "GPFs" (General Protection Faults) and "Illegal Operations", what does that mean?  I'm not doing anything "Illegal" ... ?

First, no your not doing anything "Illegal" as in law, but the machine tried to perform a function that got messed up somehow. If you get this a lot it might be time to "backup" and reinstall Windows.
