My monitor isn't bright enough ... ?Set the Contrast to Maximum and the Brightness to Halfway, this is normal settings for all TVs and monitors. Back to TOC
My USB Device doesn't work ... ?First, make sure you have a PC with Windows 98, 98SE, ME, or 2000 or a MAC with the latest MAC-OS (9.0 at the present time). If you don't have this equipment don't attempt to use USB on it. It will most likely NOT work. Second, make sure that you turn on the computer all the way before plugging a USB device into the computer. Back to TOC
My Printer was installed but has now disappeared in the printer folder and in all the printer dialogs and Windows tells me that my printer is not installed. WHAT HAPPENED ... ?It's OK, it's just hiding under "another" Windows bug. Just restart your computer and everything will be just fine. (And ask the printer where it went...That's a joke!) Back to TOC
I'm getting "GPFs" (General Protection Faults) and "Illegal Operations", what does that mean? I'm not doing anything "Illegal" ... ?First, no your not doing anything "Illegal" as in law, but the machine tried to perform a function that got messed up somehow. If you get this a lot it might be time to "backup" and reinstall Windows. Back to TOC
